FAQs

  • Currently, we only meet with clients virtually to increase accessibility to therapy and flexibility in scheduling sessions.

  • Due to licensing restrictions, therapists can only provide clinical services in the states they are licensed in. At this time, we can only offer psychotherapy for clients who are physically located in Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Washington at the time of their session. You must be in a confidential space to participate in therapy and in an environment that will allow you to focus on the session.

At the time of your session, if you are in a state that our therapist is not licensed to practice in, or it becomes evident you are not in a confidential space, the session will end and you will be responsible for the full session fee. Insurance companies do not reimbursed for cancelled or missed sessions.

  • We ask that clients provide a 24-hour notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. If you cancel in less than 24-hours, fail to attend your session, are more than 15-minutes late or the therapist has to end the session because you are out-of-state or not in a confidential space, there will be a $150 cancellation fee for the appointment. In addition, your insurance carrier will not cover any canceled session fees.

  • At the beginning of the month, every client will receive a receipt for payment collected in the previous month. If you have questions, concerns, or notice an error on your receipt, please email us at hello@allpartsseen.com so that we can address this.

  • At this time, we are unable to provide sliding scale or pro-bono options but can provide you with referrals for providers who may meet your needs.

  • All Parts Seen is an In-Network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) PPO, Blue Choice Illinois insurance plans, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedBehavioral Healthcare/Optum, and Lyra.

Prior to your initial appointment, we will verify your outpatient mental health coverage, whether there may be a deductible, what your copay or coinsurance may be, and if there are yearly session limits. This information will be emailed to you before your first session. We will also submit all claims to your insurer directly and follow up with your insurer regarding any billing issues.

It is your responsibility to make sure your insurance information is accurate and up-to-date, otherwise you will be responsible for any session fees that are rejected by your insurer. This may result in a large outstanding balance if multiple session claims are denied or rejected by your insurer.

  • If you are using insurance benefits that we are not in-network with, the process and reimbursement rates are different. As part of our intake process, we will verify out-of-network benefits and email you with this information to you. While billing out-of-network, you would be responsible for paying our fee at the time of your session, until you meet your deductible. We will submit claims to your insurer on your behalf. Your out-of-network costs depends entirely on your specific plan, whether you have a deductible to meet, the amount of that deductible if you do have one, etc., and it may not be possible to determine the amount that your insurer will reimburse until after the first session(s) begin to process.

  • We always recommend familiarizing yourself with your insurance benefits and practice navigating your insurance network. Verifying benefits yourself will also help you identify and address any discrepancies that may be evident from when we verify your insurance benefits.

Below are some questions you should ask your insurance provider. Consider noting the date of your phone call and the insurance representative you talked to.

What are my outpatient mental health benefits?

Is there pre-authorization or referral required? If so, what information do I need for this? Is there a specific form that needs to be completed?

    Do I have telehealth benefits?

Do my telehealth benefits cover CPT Code 90791 (initial assessment) and CPT Code 90837 (individual psychotherapy)?

Is there a deductible I need to meet?

    Do I have a copay?

Do I have to pay a coinsurance amount? What is that amount?

Is All Parts Seen, PLLC in-network with my insurance provider? The group NPI number is 1437891249.

  • Submit a request here or send an email to hello@allpartsseen.com to request a consultation.

We will follow up on your request with options for a free, 15 minute consultation. During the consultation, the therapist will inquire about your insurance coverage, explore your specific clinical needs, determine if you would be a good fit to work together and identify an appointment time for your session.

Following the consultation, you will receive a link to our client portal and must complete all intake paperwork uploaded to the portal. All intake paperwork must be completed within two (2) business days prior to your first appointment, otherwise your appointment will be canceled. Due to requests for services, we are not able to save an appointment slot for you. We cannot guarantee this appointment slot will still be available for you if you do not complete your paperwork in the time frame requested.

  • During the first session, you and the therapist will review the intake paperwork completed, initiate an assessment that will review your life experiences, behavioral or mental health concerns, current functioning, significant stressors, and goals for therapy. Sometimes, this intake process may take two sessions to complete.

  • Our availability is limited to Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday during the day.
